How It Works
- Contact us — call, email, or submit the form below. Tell us the vehicle year/make/model, module type, and part number if available.
- Get a quote and pay — we confirm scope, price, and provide shipping instructions. Work starts only after payment clears.
- Ship your module — pack safely and use a tracked carrier (USPS / UPS / FedEx). Optional: add insurance.
- We program and return — 3 business days of bench time, then shipped back with tracking.
Turnaround Time — The Rules
Our service window is 3 business days (Mon–Fri) measured from the moment your module is on our bench, after payment confirmation. This is bench time only.
What counts: weekdays your module is physically with us.
What does NOT count: weekends, US holidays, carrier transit time, and the day of arrival if the package reaches us after 12:00 PM local.
Examples:
- Module arrives Tuesday 10 AM, payment already cleared → shipped back by end of Friday.
- Module arrives Friday 2 PM → clock starts Monday → shipped back by end of Thursday (~7 calendar days from your drop-off).
- Buying a module from us + service → turnaround depends on supplier lead time; we do not guarantee 3 days for resale modules.
Same-day available for most modules dropped off in person before 12 PM, subject to queue.
Payment Policy
No work begins until payment is confirmed on ECU Team Corp’s account. This protects both sides: you receive a clear scope and final price, we ensure bench time is reserved for paying customers.
- Accepted: credit / debit card, ACH bank transfer, Zelle, business check (must clear before work starts).
- Bank transfers may take 1–3 business days to clear. The 3-business-day turnaround clock does not start until funds are confirmed.
- Final price depends on vehicle, module, and scope of work; the quote is confirmed before work begins.
Shipping & Liability
Who pays for shipping:
- Programming / cloning / diagnostics only (you ship your own module): customer pays both ways (to us and back).
- Module purchase from us + service: customer pays inbound shipping if they ship a core; outbound shipping of the finished module is included in the module sale price.
What we are responsible for: the bench work on your module while it is in our shop (3 business days of programming / cloning / diagnostic service).
What we are NOT responsible for:
- Shipping address accuracy (inbound or outbound) — please verify before sending.
- Carrier delays (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL).
- Customs holds or international import duties.
- Package loss or damage in transit — we recommend declared value & carrier insurance.
We strongly recommend tracked, insured shipping. Pack the module in anti-static material with padding.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which modules can I mail in?
ECU / ECM / DME / PCM, TCM / TCU, ESL / ELV steering locks, SRS airbag modules, IMMO / IMMU units, BCM, keys and key data. We support 35+ makes and 200+ verified part numbers.
Do you service airbag modules from crashed vehicles?
Yes — SRS airbag module reset / crash data clear, performed on the bench. Service restores undamaged modules to pre-crash state. Physically damaged modules may require replacement rather than reset.
Do I need to include anything with the module?
Include a printed note with: your name, phone, email, vehicle year/make/model, VIN (if programming to VIN), your order / invoice number, and a brief description of the fault. Do not ship keys unless we specifically asked for them.
What if my module arrives after 12 PM or on a Friday afternoon?
The bench-time clock starts the next business day. A Friday-afternoon arrival will typically ship back the following Thursday.
What is your shipping address?
We provide the shipping address after payment confirmation, together with any model-specific packaging notes. This also ensures you always receive the current address (we occasionally relocate).
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we accept modules from all 50 US states and most international destinations. International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.
What if something goes wrong?
